Renaldo & the Loaf. "Songs for Swinging Larvae"? What?

I'm not sure what this experimental duo are on, but this video is certainly a head-scratcher. Immediately from the beginning, listeners are fed backwards messages into subliminal-esque incision, confusing and deluding any human who comes into ear contact with this crazed piece. But it's only just starting.

As the visuals comply with the sound, we are left looking down at what seems to be a woman's top, as she pours red liquid into everything and anything. The bright red colour itself is frightening enough, yet when it appears everywhere we begin to worry for our own sanity (especially at the sink plunger part). "How are the waves, how are the waves" sings the Simon and Garfunkel of a far away distant planet on Acid, as the audience fails to piece together what's occurring in this strange camera angled kitchen, although the obscurity doesn't end here.

A small plunger-attacked child is dragged away by a mysterious shadow and led into an even stranger world, where the video leans on border-line pedophilia. Leaving the child worryingly washed in a basin wearing nothing but handcuffs. At this point, you can only feel a little uneasy, that maybe the psycho duo have gone a little too far!! But before these thoughts are allowed to progress, the trippy madness continues with more backwards vocals. Accompanied with a peculiar puppet, I began to wonder what exactly I had eaten/drank today and whether or not I was dreaming.

There's one thing for certain, Renaldo & the Loaf's perception of reality is pretty screwed up!! (and don't worry, I won't spoil the ending!)
